Chef Keith Erickson and his team took 1st place in 2012 at the 10th Annual Sacramento Chef Challenge by Inalliance
Keith Erickson’s love of cooking kick-started his culinary career at a young age. By age 15, he was already cooking in small restaurants and working towards his life’s calling. After eight years of working in various hotels and resorts in Phoenix and Las Vegas, Keith enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America and graduated in 1985. By age 30, he achieved his first Executive Chef position, and has since worked as Executive Chef at the Dupont Plaza Hotel in Washington D.C., Executive Chef at the Doubletree Hotel and Convention center in Portland, Director of Culinary Development for Shari’s 98 Restaurants, Corporate Chef for Gourmet Solutions, and Food and Beverage Director/ Executive Chef at Skagit Valley Casino in Bow, Washington. Keith has recently joined the Colusa Casino Resort Culinary team as its new Executive Chef.
Keith has served as the First Vice President of the Chef’s de Cuisine Society, the Oregon Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), and has been an active member of ACF and NICA for over 15 years. In 2004, he was recognized as the Oregon Chef of the Year. He is also active in contributing to charities such as The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Madeleine School Auction, Southwest Washington Medical Center Foundation, and the Metropolitan Family Services Auction.
